My business ethics reflect my personal ethics. I live my life with as positive an impact on this beautiful Earth as I possibly can, by:

>  eating 'cruelty-free', for the animals, my health & the environment;

> consuming products & services provided by local, ethical companies as much as possible;

> designing, building & living in an off-grid mortgage-free tiny house on wheels.

The impact myself and my tiny family has on other living beings, the community and this planet is of profound importance to me. I am only really at the beginning of this journey, and so my stance to only create design work for companies I truly believe in stems from my desire to learn from others to better my understanding of how, as one tiny human being, we can really make a valuable change in this crazy world we live in.

Much like our name, ROAM Creative has been on a journey.

Harnessing my artistic talents at the prestigious Glasgow School of Art, I have roamed across countries working for leading graphic design agencies. From England to Scotland, New York to Hong Kong, and now Western Australia to Northern NSW,  I really do live by my mantra "Not all those who wander are lost".

After 6 years of working for international award-winning design studios and gaining invaluable experience, I decided it was time to go solo. In Perth WA,
'Amy Moffatt Visual Communications' was born, and my international eye for forward-thinking creativity captured the attention of some of WA's most vibrant companies. With an ever-increasing client base of wonderfully varied businesses, AMVC’s credentials went from strength to strength.

During most of 2012, I worked for my clients whilst travelling across South East Asia and Europe, fuelling my passion for design even further whilst also increasing my business’ global connections. So after returning to WA, winning a lucarative and exciting contract with the City of Fremantle, expanding my business to include employees and thus changing the name to ROAM Creative, life was pretty darn great. 2015 was a year of many personal adventures (which I will bore you with over a cuppa one day), and by an unexpected twist of fate in early 2016, the stunning valley of Northern NSW has now become home, both for my tiny family and my small-but-perfectly-formed design business.

A self-confessed design geek with a meticulous eye for typography, I get my thrills from crafting unique design solutions for innovative and ethical organisations who contribute to making this world a better place. So if you are doing something good for people, animals, the community or this beautiful planet, please do not hesitate to get in touch — I'd love to meet you.
